I do research that helps us understand how forests may adapt to climate change. This involves answering important questions like "where does pollen go?" and "how far apart can trees be and still have sex?" and "is pollen-mediated gene flow adaptive or maladaptive in lodgepole pine?"

I have a chronic illness and my university supports my accommodations, mainly that I'll take a little longer to finish my PhD. Unfortunately, that support is not financial.
