@female_pressure

female:pressure is a transnational online database and network for marginalized gender groups in music, sound practice, creative technology, and the related visual arts. Founded in 1998, it makes the work of its members visible and connects them through the female:pressure mailing list.

female:pressure has no legal body. I, Electric Indigo, founded the project and pay all its bills, so donations go to me. The maintenance work is unpaid, but the running costs have to be covered:

• server hosting in the European Union [Hetzner]: €382.80
• mailing list hosting in the European Union [Mailman3.com]: €99
• SoundCloud Pro for the female:pressure podcast: €99
• domains femalepressure.net and femalepressure.org: €40
• wordpress redirect: €13
• development tools: €180

total: €813.80 per year, about €68 per month.

recurring donations help most, because they let us plan ahead. thank you!
