Beskrivelse
Awoo.space s a social network built on the glitch.social branch of the Mastodon codebase that limits what other Mastodon instances it communicates with using a whitelist in order to help facilitate a more close-knit community with limited harassment.
The instance is built on the foundations of a respect for interpersonal boundaries, social learnings and de-escalation of conflict.
This fund exists as a means to pay the marginalized members of its staff without steady income, as well as to fund small projects on the platform.
All funds go initially to the main admin who will be distributing the funds directly to his volunteer team members and to artists for their commissions. These funds are treated as gifts to the site and are re-gifted to staff who wish to accept them.
