The money received will pay the domain and the hosting of the Mastodon instance Equestria.Social.

The current (2023-12-31) state of the cost of the service :
- One main server for 30€/month = 360€/year
- 2 backup servers (also used for my other services) for a total of 85€/month = 1020€/year (approx. 50% of the server used disk space is used by the instance)
- Domain name for 30€/year
The total cost is hard to determine, due to the save server used by multiple services aside of the instance but by using the ratio of used space the instance cost around (900€/year or 75€/month). (If I take the full backup servers it's 1410 €/year, 117.5 €/month) The money above the server requirement is not lost, on the infrastructure I have some other servers that are important like the internal VPN hubs, the frontal reverse proxy management, ...
