About us

We are a small group currently forming a non-profit association that operates open infrastructure and freely accessible open-source services for everyone. Our goal is to provide reliable, privacy-respecting and community-oriented services that do not depend on large commercial platforms.

What we do

We run and maintain various self-hosted services and tools, for example:

• open-source communication and collaboration platforms
• privacy-friendly file and media hosting
• monitoring, automation and experimental test environments
• documentation and technical articles about self-hosting and IT security

All services are based on open-source software and are intended to be usable by interested individuals, small projects and communities without paywalls or intrusive tracking.

Why we ask for donations

Operating this infrastructure comes with ongoing costs, including:

• servers, hardware and hosting
• bandwidth and network infrastructure
• VPNs and secure connectivity
• backups, monitoring and other operational tools

At the moment, all of this is funded privately by a small number of people who also invest their time into setup, maintenance and support.
